I think this year it's "heart dropped," I use that line a lot when I'm talking about how a person feels. I am going to go back and edit that out of my novel completely. Well I might leave it in a sentence or two. Maybe.LoveRundlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01177659277273835858noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3397536281585357054.post-79039106868859303222007-01-27T14:17:00.000-05:002007-01-27T14:17:00.000-05:00Thanks Susan, Chuck and Danny!

It's great.
Chuck, I'm not one of those, as you know, I need all the help I can get. And I'll take all the advice and critisim I can squeeze out as well. How else is a writer going to know what doesn't really work and what does? 2nd, third, even fourth opinions are better than just one, namely your own.
Danny, thanks for the kudos. I read said mantra somewhere, but I forget where. I wrote it in big block letters on a sheet of paper and tacked to the wall beside my computer. So when I'm revising something it reminds me to stop coddling and kill them darlings before they fester. Although It's still hard to do so, for me at least.Lucas Pedersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13072101177732602824noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3397536281585357054.post-2275346632931223222007-01-27T06:44:00.000-05:002007-01-27T06:44:00.000-05:00That's a good one: Kill Your Darlings - easy mantr...That's a good one: Kill Your Darlings - easy mantra to remember. That's why I appreciate this blogging situation where other people (and yes, I am very fortunate to have the fellow bloggers that I do) can take a look at it.

My hope is that as time moves in I will not only gain skills but also the confidence.

Keep writing, Lucas.Susan Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05566328070072489203noreply@blogger.com
